As we worked through many different versions of the Addalets™ UI one thing became painfully obvious… designing an app was a detailed and meticulous process. Creating something that both felt and looked fresh while allowing players to focus on game play was no easy task. One of the best resources we came across that really helped us in the development of our UI was UI-Patterns.com which is a User Interface Design Patter Library. They have everything filtered into nicely organized categories to help you find what you need easily. We really appreciated the way they broke things into an analytical silo (Design Patterns) and visual silo (Screen Shots), so you can see why a certain pattern might work for a specific situation and then see how it looked and how someone might navigate through it.
