When you download the Addalets App from the Itunes Store you will receive a free ‘3 Letter pack’ of 100 puzzles to solve.

At the bottom of every puzzle is a word in purple tiles that is called the ‘Theme Word’. Located above are the ‘Puzzle Words’ that are in blue tiles. The object of the game is to add a letter from the ‘Theme Word’ to one of the ‘Puzzle Words’ to create a new word. One simple rule of Addalets, is that you can not add any letter to the end of a puzzle word.

To solve the puzzle, touch and hold a letter in the theme word with your finger or stylus and drag the letter to one of the puzzle words. Then drop it in the correct space between existing letters, or at the beginning, in order to create a new word. Continue this with the other letters in the Theme Word until you have created all new words from each of the Puzzle Words. When you drop the last letter into the last puzzle word, the game will let you know if you’ve solved the puzzle correctly, or not. If you have not solved the puzzle correctly, the game will let you know which letters are right and which letters are wrong, and will give you more opportunities to complete the puzzle accurately.

Once you’ve solved the puzzle accurately, you can go right to the next puzzle by clicking the ‘Continue’ button. The game also offers you the ability to view the meanings of the newly created ‘solved’ words by touching the Definitions button. After reviewing the definitions, click ‘Continue’ to move to the next puzzle.
